Would you like to Win more Business?

Suppliers should ensure they take advantage of a superb opportunity to be involved in the Council’s procurement projects, by meeting the Council’s buying teams face to face.

The Local Supplier Development Project has organised a free ‘Meet the Buyer’ event, in partnership with Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council services, on March 26th 2008, at the Heritage Park Hotel. This event is a European Funded Initiative.

Building relationships and winning contracts from departments within large organisations can be difficult, so this event offers a unique opportunity to bring together interested suppliers and buying departments from within the Council who will discuss their forthcoming contracts for 2008/2009. Suppliers will be able to assess their possibilities of being included in the tendering process.

Services who will be present will include Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council’s Procurement, Environmental Services, CICT (Information Technology), Leisure Services, Corporate Estates and County Borough Supplies.

The event will consist of pre-arranged appointments between potential suppliers and the Council’s buyers. If the suppliers’ business is relevant to the forthcoming Contract opportunities, they will be allocated a 15-minute time slot, prior to attendance at the event. There may also be a limit of 3 suppliers per contract - places will be given on a first come first served basis. A brief company profile will be required at the time of Booking.

If you require further information or to book your time slot contact Natalie Taylor on 01633 242722 or E-mail alternatively for full event details and to view a list of live Contract Opportunities 2008/2009 for Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council visit www.contractshop.co.uk/3114.html
