DTD Training Ltd celebrates 10 years

25 Medi 2007

DTD Training Ltd was pleased to celebrate 10 years in business with an evening event at Tredomen Gateway as a thank you to the many employees and associates they have worked with over the years, and to acknowledge the support their loyal customers have given.

DTD started training in May 1997 and has since grown to become one of the UK’s largest providers of vocational health and safety training, as well as food hygiene, consultancy and advice.

Health and Safety has developed into their biggest area of operation, with centre approval from 4 awarding bodies and a diverse and constantly expanding product portfolio. Major clients have included G Costa, Williams Medical Supplies, Newport & Gwent Enterprise, CITB and Cardiff University.

For 10 years DTD Training has been based in Caerphilly and the move last year to the award-winning Gateway Building at the Tredomen Business Park proved instrumental in their growth as they continued to work all over the UK with an increasing spectrum of companies from various sectors. The facilities also allow DTD to run more Open Courses than ever before, providing an invaluable service to the local business community.

On 6th September, DTD celebrated their 10th Anniversary and welcomed customers, staff, associates, representatives of community groups and members of the business community supported by the company. Founder and Director of the company, Tudor Williams expressed thanks to those in attendance, most notably Gill Mason and John Hathaway from G & J Partnership, who acted as mentors for Tudor when he began setting up the business. DTD were also pleased to be joined by Rob Whiting of Williams Medical Supplies, who were Tudor’s first customers over 10 years ago.

"It was nice to see some familiar faces in the audience" said Tudor. "I think the event achieved a great balance – we didn’t want to be to stuffy and it was nice to be able to say thank you to those who have helped in our success and show them how far we’ve come in ten years."

And as a small token of their appreciation, and an unusual twist to the evening, it was the guests who left with the all presents as each was given an individually wrapped china mug celebrating the event.
